Home Reared Lamb.
As we only have a small flock of ewes we can achieve and maintain an extremely high level of care. The wellbeing and health of our animals is of highest importance.
The ewes are on grass all year round with the necessary supplemented feed in winter. We believe that this provides happy and healthy ewes that produce happy and healthy lambs.
Our home-reared free range lamb is for sale, by pre-order, through-out the year and is available for collection after September when the lambs reach their optimum weight and size.
We sell the lamb in either wholes or half’s. The lamb comes cut and packed ready for the freezer – if you ordered half a lamb you’d typically receive 2x Roast joints (Shoulder & Leg), 1x rack (7-8 Ribs), 8-12 Chops, some mince and offal if required.
Our lambs are butchered by Bramfield meats and each cut is individual wrapped and frozen. Half a lamb costs £70.00 and the average weight is 9.5kgs. A whole lamb costs £130.00.
